The Bridge Base Log is a historical document made by the Devious One for the Foundation’s Media division. It is one of two media projects which predate the division’s formal start – the other being the Bridgeland Maps.
The Bridge Base Log began on 2021-10-01, just a month after the Foundation’s start. It is written by the Devious One; it details everything that goes on in the Base (at least, construction-based activities).
The Bridge Base Log is split into five books, each covering a different epoch of the Foundation’s history.
- Book 1: 2021-10-01 to 2022-07-13 (pg. 1–147)
- Book 2: 2022-07-15 to 2023-06-12 (pg. 148–307)
- Book 3: 2023-06-13 to 2024-05-01 (pg. 308–467)
- Book 4: 2024-05-02 to 2025-03-12 (pg. 468–627)
- Book 5: 2025-03-13 to present (pg. 628–)
Over 500 pages long and still growing, the Bridge Base Log is a true testiment to the intensive documentation of the Foundation. Without it, all the other projects’ pages would be almost impossible to make – at least, not to the same level of detail.
Seriously, I cannot overstate the magnitude to which the Log has helped me make all the other pages: it gives me exact dates for events; lets me remember the contents of structures; and has helpful illustrations (on the newer sections of the Log) to put on other pages.
